Here's some information about the author of this blog in her own words:
"Claudia Abatte graduated from American School for Translators & Interpreters -EATRI- Santiago, Chile in 1987.
From 1993 through 1997 she lived in Virginia and Washington, DC., where, besides working as a Translator & Interpreter she tutored Spanish and volunteered for Organizations and Groups focused on helping the Hispanic Community.
Back in Chile, she has worked as Bilingual Advisor for the International Commercial Relations of several companies, where her knowledge of both cultures -Hispanic and Anglo- has been an asset.
She also resumed her teaching vocation as English Instructor and Spanish Tutor for foreigners in Chile.
She has basic knowledge of German, French, Portuguese, and other languages for linguistic research purposes. Currently she is studying Chinese Mandarin."
